Framery Q, the soundproof meeting pod for two to four users has won the Gold Innovation Award at IIDEXCanada. The IIDEX Innovation Awards celebrate the industry’s leading manufacturers within the fields of design and interior architecture, and recognise exceptional achievement in new product design for the built environment.
“Framery Q was appreciated for its outstanding new product design. It was a show stopper where attendees were quick to explore the product, testing out its effectiveness and sharing their moments inside the meeting pod on social media,” said Ian Chodikoff, Director of Marketing and Programming at IIDEXCanada.
Framery Q is targeted at open-plan offices, offering employees a quick escape to silence and privacy. The sound insulated meeting pod is ideal for calls, meetings, interviews and demanding tasks that require full concentration. Framery Q comes with four distinct layout options designed for different user needs. Framery Q was launched by Framery in May 2016.
Framery O, the sister product for Framery Q, has won several design awards, including the IIDEX Gold Award 2015. The one-person phone booth is the breakthrough product of Framery, the Finnish startup company specialising in soundproof workspaces for open offices. Until today, Framery has supplied its products to 44 countries. Framery’s clients include the world’s largest brands such as Uber, Microsoft, PWC and Deloitte.
The Innovation Awards are organised by Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) and presented at IIDEXCanada, Canada’s largest exposition and conference for the design, construction and management of the built environment.
