”It’s not just a slogan – Framery is serious about happiness.”
One of my career highlights has been getting the opportunity to happily represent Framery and the company’s mission. Framery moved into the same showroom I was working in while with another furniture manufacturer at the time. From the very first moment I was introduced to the brand, it was like a revelation, and I quickly realized that these pods were the future. I instantly fell in love with the quality of the products, the finesse of Framery pods, and the well thought-out details. I felt attracted to the high energy and fun that was going on at Framery. During that first week in the same showroom, I asked the sales representative if he ever hears of an open role at Framery in Sweden, he’d have to tell me right away so I could apply.
It worked out — one year later there was an opening and I immediately contacted the new Head of Sales, Rasmus Nanhed. His email address was not yet on the website, but that didn’t stop me — I sent an email guessing the address formula that those at Framery used. I wrote to him that I was very interested in working as the new Sales representative for Framery in Sweden. I suggested him to hire me so the momentum in Sweden wouldn’t drop. My nervousness during the interview process made me realize that I had to be on the right track! When I really want something, I make sure to do whatever I can to make it happen.
”I have to say I’ve had fun in my previous jobs as well, but I have been one of those who strives for it. The difference with Framery is that we are a group of so many like-minded people and I love it. It feels like family.”
Framery is such a genuinely fun company to work for! Everyone works so hard and has a blast together while on their career journey. It’s not just a slogan – Framery is serious about happiness. Transparency is a high ceiling and we can speak about anything with each other. While we might not always unanimously agree, everyone can speak up and it’s very easy to get a hold of anyone within the company to ask, say, suggest, or inform. I find both happiness and transparency very important and appreciate these values. They are the key to Framery’s success!
I have to say I’ve had fun in my previous jobs as well, but I have been one of those who strives for it. The difference with Framery is that we are a group of so many like-minded people and I love it. It feels like family.
”As a former professional dancer, getting a ”yes” in an audition and being on stage is fully comparable with getting that deal or agreement that you have been working hard on. It’s the best feeling in the world!”
Working here is high tempo and honest and while there are high expectations set for you, it’s also really fun. This is a perfect job for all overachievers who want to have a good time. The biggest difference between Finnish and Swedish working culture is the straightforwardness. Finns always strive to have a clear picture of what is expected of them, that way, there is no confusion about it. I like this approach – knowing exactly what is wanted from me instead of having to guess.
As a former professional dancer, getting a ”yes” in an audition and being on stage is fully comparable with getting that deal or agreement that you have been working hard on. It’s the best feeling in the world! As a dancer you must have the perseverance to keep going to auditions and getting a “no” over and over again before you finally get a ”yes” – you have to get up every time and try again!
”To a salesperson it makes a big difference when you get the opportunity to sell a product you know is a good one that would make a difference to the people using it.”
To a salesperson it makes a big difference when you get the opportunity to sell a product you know is a good one that would make a difference to the people using it. The personal values that have stayed in my heart, despite the career change, are joy and passion. Taking risks, wanting to win, but being a team player are much needed in both professions.
Glada hälsningar (Happy greetings) from Sweden,
