2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), one of the longest running and most prestigious design awards programs in existence. Originally founded to recognize exceptional achievement in industrial design, the program has since grown to highlight design in many connected disciplines including design strategy, branding, digital interaction and more. Each year, thousands of entries are submitted by design teams across the globe, making IDEA one of the largest and most widely anticipated annual awards programs in the world. Nearly two-thirds of U.S.-based companies have employees that work remotely, and research shows that remote work will equal, if not surpass fixed office spaces by the year 2025. Through the innovation of Framery O VCR, remote work and global interaction is made easy, connecting people from different locations and allowing them to work and collaborate seamlessly by being video-conference ready. The product addresses the critical need for breakout spaces that can both support and connect people in the current environment we inhabit, as the remote worker population continues to grow. The Framery O VCR has a stylish and durable design – and companies can also customize their pods, configuring it to match branding or a specific design aesthetic using optional exterior and frame colors as well as optional stool colors.
“Not only does Framery 2Q provide privacy, but it also gives an all encompassing effective solution in terms of a company’s time, finances, and environmental footprint.”
Framery 2Q addresses the common inefficiencies of corporate layouts. A Finnish-based study shows that there is a mismatch between the sizes of meeting spaces, and the sizes of groups that use them. Not only does Framery 2Q provide privacy, but it also gives an all encompassing effective solution in terms of a company’s time, finances, and environmental footprint–– companies don’t have to build fixed conference rooms but rather will have a properly sized space, located in the most suitable area within the existing workplace. Framery 2Q’s superior sound insulation, beautiful design, an advanced air ventilation system and excellent ergonomics exceed the needs and expectations of the end user. The three different furnishing options provide a range for employees to select which best suits their needs.
