I'm lucky enough to work in some great buildings, including Grade I listed Historic Ashton Court Mansion. Perks of working in a house on a site which can trace owners back 1000 years are ghosts! Soon after we took it on we heard footsteps walking overhead, that's when we were told it was probably Esme (who died in 1956 as it happens over where we heard the footsteps). There is also reputed to be a grey lady and a headless horseman. Personally I'd rather have a soundproof booth to make calls and zooms in rather than an encounter with a headless horseman as my work perk.
