”Our culture has encouraged me to be curious and try new things without being afraid of making mistakes.”

I joined Framery in July of 2019 to lead the new materials management team within the company’s supply chain organization. With my background being primarily in large, publicly listed companies, I was looking for a more dynamic work environment. I had really high expectations regarding Framery after reading and listening to so many stories about this rapidly growing company where people work hard and have fun together. Framery has not only reached those high expectations, but exceeded them. Framery employees, Framerians as we call them, work harder than I could’ve ever expected, and they have even more fun together than I could have ever imagined. An example of this is from the fabulous trip all Framerians took together to Åre just to celebrate all of our achievements.

”Building a new team within a rapidly growing company has been extremely inspiring and has taught me a lot about both Framery and myself.”

Building a new team within a rapidly growing company has been extremely inspiring and has taught me a lot about both Framery and myself. During the first year, my team expanded a lot. It surprised me how much effort we put into recruiting new Framerians and how much value our People & Culture team can create during that process. We, of course, want to hire the best employees while also ensuring that we are the right employer for them. The potential candidate must not only fit into Framery’s culture, but also the growing teams at the company. My colleagues have been involved in the recruiting process to make sure that new employees will understand what Framery, its history, its people, and its products are all about and therefore, the candidates that best fit our teams will come on board.

The culture at Framery is very unique and it’s incredibly special and rewarding to be a part of it. At Framery, you can be who you are. We value diversity and respect everyone’s backgrounds. Framery is a perfect match for me in terms of leadership because the company’s values align with mine – and you can see them present in everyday life. The most important values for me are transparency and fair decision-making. Information is shared through our internal wiki so that way all employees can be involved in the decision-making process. We believe and trust that every employee is an expert in his or her field, and so their opinions are implemented when helping to drive the success of the company.

Framery’s growth, coupled with its culture, creates an excellent environment for personal development. From my perspective, we offer more development opportunities to our employees than other companies. As a leader, it is rewarding to be able to invest in our employees and help them rise from within – almost at any point during their career. I have developed remarkably during my first year at Framery, not only as a professional, but also as a leader and an individual too. Our culture has encouraged me to be curious and try new things without being afraid of making mistakes. I truly believe that an environment like this is optimal for continuous growth and ensures the best outcome for the company as well.

Together, with my team, we have taken huge steps in terms of material flow from the suppliers to our production. Whether you are already a professional or interested in becoming one, prefer context more than control. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment surrounded by passionate colleagues, come join us for the ride!
