Framery Labs exploring wellbeing – Framery Pulse a valuable invention, but not for pods or the office

Wellbeing is an ever more important topic for organizations, but the lack of visibility to the wellness of the people is hindering the possibilities to act on changes.

Wellbeing is an ever more important topic for organizations, but the lack of visibility to the wellness of the people is hindering the possibilities to act on changes.

Framery Pulse is a technology that was developed by Framery Labs as a way of scientifically measuring the population level wellbeing at workplaces, without identifying the individual users; a sort of early warning system for organizations to detect when something is happening before it is visible in sick leave or employee engagement surveys.

The technology proof of concept was piloted internally at Framery, and we strongly believe the technology to measure baseline-less stress is a valuable invention, but at the same time we would never violate anyone’s privacy in any way. That is why Framery, already in the early stages of the pilot, decided not to ever commercialize it related to pods or offices. While the technology provides full anonymity to people, we have concluded that we cannot be 100% sure the organizations have the consent from their people to even measure the heart rate.

However, we believe that there might be multiple use cases for it in consumer products. We’ll hope that those who might be interested in this technology will be in touch with us.

Framery Labs will continue to research and innovate around the topics about the future of work and office tech. We will always respect our core values – courage and curiosity, transparency, responsibility and good judgement. But at the same time we will continue to explore new possibilities with an open mind.
